How to Remove the Radio from a Smart

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015

To remove the radio from this car model, perhaps to install a more powerful one, follow the instructions below along with the video images for proper disassembly. First, obtain a plastic lever to detach and pry on the control group located just below the radio. Below it, you will find a screw that needs to be removed to take off the radio's trim. There are two screws on either side of the radio that must also be removed. Be careful to disconnect the terminals and connectors located at the back. Then, take the new radio and correctly carry out the rear wiring before reassembling all components in reverse order.
