How the Smart Media System Works on the Smart Fortwo

Let’s see how the media system works on the Smart Fortwo: the 7" screen is capacitive, making it very responsive to touch, and on the home screen, there are 6 main menus. However, the icons can sometimes be a bit small to hit on the first touch. An alternative is voice commands, but they are not always reliable, as it has not always been possible to set a destination on the navigation system while the car is moving, or to make a call via hands-free. There is a USB port and an AUX-in, as well as a 12-volt socket. The Smart media system is an optional extra on nearly the entire range, which also includes automatic climate control. Alternatively, you can use the system via cable with mirroring, but be careful as not all smartphones are compatible. In this case, you can use the free SmartCrossConnect app, which has many useful functions.
