How to Remove the Radio from a Smart 451

To remove the radio from a Smart 451, use a tool to pry off the button panel located beneath the device, allowing you to unscrew the screws at the back. Once these screws are removed, detach the side covers of the radio so that the underlying screws can be unscrewed. After all screws are loosened, pull the radio out from its housing by disconnecting the connectors at the back. This will allow you to insert the new replacement part, reassembling all previously removed components.
