How to Remove the Front Bumper of a Smart Fortwo

Removing the front bumper of a Smart Fortwo model 451 is a very simple operation that can be done independently, thanks to our video tutorial. Start the removal process by taking off the sealing panel located at the lower side of the Smart; to do this, use a prying tool to detach the fixing clips. Continue the procedure by removing the front bonnet. Then, using a Torx spanner, remove the central screw that holds the central belt in place. With a T25, remove the side bolts. As shown in the video, remove the side screws located near the external mirror and detach the clips of the lower bumper. Disconnect the various connectors and extract the bumper from its position.
