This brief video guide shows how to perform the service reset on a Smart 451, produced from 2007 to 2015. After changing the oil, turn the vehicle's instrument panel on by turning the key to the second position. Then, press the button to the left of the speedometer twice and turn off the instrument panel. Next, press and hold the button to the left of the speedometer again and turn the instrument panel back on, keeping the button pressed for about 5 to 10 seconds until the service reset is complete. Finally, turn off and restart the vehicle to verify the reset.
