How do you replace the seat belt latch on the Smart car?

In order to replace the buckle on the Smart's seat belt, you need to disconnect the connector that connects the buckle to the bottom of the seat; once this is disconnected, you can loosen the screw that fixes the buckle to the side of the seat. This way, you can completely remove the old seat belt buckle from its position; at this point, you will need to connect the new replacement piece to the connector on the bottom of the seat. Then, you can attach the buckle to the seat by tightening it with the appropriate screw.

If you want to improve visibility inside the boot compartment, it is recommended to replace the original incandescent bulb with a LED type (T10 fitting); once the rear hatch is opened, locate the bulb holder positioned on the side, near the shock absorber dome, where the plastic grille is located.
