Adjust the seat of the Smart Fortwo. Open the car door and enter the cabin.

Move the seat forward to reach the pedals or backward for legroom, using the adjustment buttons or metal lever. Adjust the front seat height with the plastic lever on the left side and tilt the backrest with the knob on the right side.

Perform these operations with the vehicle turned off and stationary. Also, adjust the height of the seatbelt according to the seat.
