How do you install the tachometer on the Smart car?

In order to install the tachometer on the Smart car, you need to pry off the cover on the upper part of the central dashboard panel using an object. Underneath this cover, you will be able to locate the connectors to which the tachometer needs to be connected. Once it is connected, you can secure it to its housing using the appropriate screws. After it is securely attached, you can cover everything with the corresponding central panel that was previously removed, and then verify that everything is functioning properly.

Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the air kit, disconnect the engine air intake hose and the metal clamp pin. Remove the air filter box from the vehicle body, then extract the worn air filter and insert a new one, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the box. Finally, reattach the air box panel and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet last.
