The procedure for replacing the starter motor of the Smart car involves opening the trunk of the car and lifting the protective panel located at its base. Under this panel, the engine compartment will be present, and on its left side, the starter motor can be identified. The starter motor can be removed from its housing by disconnecting all the connectors and loosening the respective fastening screws. In this way, it will be possible to insert the new starter motor, securing it to its housing and connecting it to the appropriate connectors.
