How do you replace the starter motor of the Smart car?

In order to replace the starter motor of the Smart car, you will need to access the bottom of the engine compartment, which is located at the rear of the car: the starter motor will be positioned between the flywheel and the gearbox. Once it has been located, you will need to loosen the screws that hold it in place and disconnect the appropriate power cables: at this point it will be possible to completely remove the old starter motor in order to insert the new one. This can now be fixed and connected in order to verify that everything works in the correct way.
