Today we will discover the necessary information on how to disassemble and replace the starter motor of the Smart Fortwo. First, we open the rear hatch and start dismantling and removing the bumper, unscrewing all the fixing screws; then we disconnect the electrical wiring of the starter motor, then unscrew its fixing screws to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we repair or replace the starter motor with the original one, fixing it correctly and making the connection, then reassembling all the other components and finally the rear bumper!
