To reset the service indicator of the Smart 451.

If even after performing the regular maintenance of your Smart 451 (year 2007-2015) you notice that the alarm light continues to turn on on the dashboard, then you just have to proceed with the following manual reset. The entire procedure takes just a few seconds. First, enter inside your Smart 451 and locate the button located on the lower left side of the dashboard. Press and hold the button in question while simultaneously turning on the instrument panel. Wait for the reset to be completed correctly and, finally, release the button and turn off the dashboard.

Release the bonnet using the appropriate lever and lift it to secure it with the prop rod. First, check the condition of your battery, then disconnect the terminals, starting with the negative one.
