How to replace the rear light bulbs in the Smart ForTwo?

As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the rear light bulbs in the Smart ForTwo is an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then open the trunk door, locate the two screws on the inner edge of the headlight in question, and unscrew them both using a Torx key. Then, grab the taillight, pull it towards you, and separate it from the bodywork. At this point, all that's left is to disconnect the power connector, open the inner base, and replace the faulty bulb.
