To replace the fog light on a Smart, use a tool like a screwdriver to pry off the front grille from the bumper. Once removed, you can locate the screws securing the fog light to its housing. These can now be fully loosened to pull the light out of its housing, allowing you to disconnect the connectors at the back. Connect the new fog light to the connectors, secure it with the screws, and refit the grille.
