How to Remove the Door Panel of the Smart 451

To remove the door panel on the Smart 451, first detach the outer panel of the door. This will allow access to the clips underneath that secure the panel from the outside. These must be released to detach the lower part of the inner panel. Next, use a tool to pry off the trim of the armrest so that the screws underneath can be loosened. After removing these screws, proceed to detach the panel for replacement with a new one.
