How to remove the outer door panel of a Smart 451?

To replace the outer door panel of a Smart 451, you must loosen the screws that secure the mirror from the inside of the door. Once removed, lift the seal at the base of the window and loosen the screws near the door locking mechanism. This will allow you to remove the handle to lift the panel from the inside. As you continue to lift it, the panel will completely detach from the door. Once the panel is removed, you can replace it with a new spare part.
