In order to remove the external door handle of the Smart 451, a screwdriver must be leveraged inside the housing of the side glass, so that the external door panel can be detached. By moving the external panel, it will be possible to access the screws below that secure the external handle in its housing. Now the door will have to be opened to unscrew the bolt located inside the panel, at the handle. Now the latter will have been released and can be extracted from its housing by disconnecting the connector at the rear.
