To remove the outer door panel of the Smart 451, first loosen the screws securing the external mirror to gain more manoeuvring space. Now, begin detaching the retaining clips of the panel from the top and then from the bottom.

This will free the outer panel, allowing you to lift it upwards and pull it outwards. Once the old panel is removed, you can insert a new spare part and reattach the external mirror.
