To change the battery inside your Subaru Impreza key, follow the steps outlined in this guide. First, press the button on the back cover while simultaneously pulling out the emergency key upwards.

Once the emergency key is removed, open the cover and locate the flat battery inside. Next, remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2032 3V battery.

Finally, reassemble the cover and insert the emergency key back inside.
