How do you remove a Subaru Forester steering wheel airbag?

Model: Subaru Forester MK 4, SJ - Years 2012-2019
Part: Airbag

In order to remove the steering wheel airbag from the Subaru Forester, you need to loosen the screws located in the rear part of the steering wheel, one on the right side and one on the left side. Once these screws have been loosened, it will be possible to detach the airbag from its housing, so that the connectors in the rear part can be disconnected. Once the old airbag has been completely removed, the new one can be inserted by plugging it into the connectors at the rear. Finally it will be necessary to fix it by connecting the screws in the rear part of the steering wheel.
