Today, follow these instructions to remove and replace the steering wheel and its airbag on the Subaru Forester. First, get inside the cabin and start by removing the steering wheel airbag by pushing on the rear holes with something thin and pointed; then disconnect the electrical connector, as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the central screw of the steering wheel to remove it while keeping it perfectly straight; then install the new steering wheel, centring it, connect the various electrical controls, and finally reassemble the airbag.
