Subaru Forester - Video tutorial

Model: Subaru Forester MK 4, SJ - Years 2012-2019
Part: Dashboard
Operation: How do you remove the dashboard of the Subaru Forester?

To dismantle the dashboard of the Subaru Forester, you need to open the glove compartment so that it can be detached from its housing. Once this is done, proceed by unscrewing the screws that secure the radio display, also removing the corresponding trims and the panel below the controls. Now, unscrew the screws that hold the steering wheel, detach the airbag in the center, and unscrew the central nut that secures the steering wheel itself. Then, the plastics around the steering column can be detached, along with those around the instrument cluster, which will be extracted from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
