Where to Find the Fuse Box in a Subaru Forester

To safely locate the fuse box in your first-generation Subaru Forester (1997-2002), follow the instructions in this guide. First, park the car on a flat surface and turn it off completely. Stay on the driver's side and locate the small compartment beneath the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. Remove the protective cover by hand, and you will have access to the fuses you are looking for. Before working on them, remember to disconnect the battery.
