To replace the air filter on a Suzuki Gsf Bandit 650, you will need to partially remove the tank to access the air box underneath. By removing the seat, you will notice two pins at the lower end of the tank that must be removed to extract it. After removing the pins, pull the tank towards the seat to disengage the rail attachments. Once the tank is detached, disconnect the two fuel supply hoses; it is advisable to mark the position of the hoses to avoid reversing them during reassembly. This operation will not cause fuel spillage due to the presence of a depressor inside the tank. After disconnecting the two hoses, proceed to disconnect the float supply connector located at the bottom of the tank. Once these components are disconnected, you can rotate the tank 180 degrees to access the air box. At the two upper ends of the air box, there will be two more pins that, once removed, will allow you to open the air box and access the air filter. At this point, the air filter can be easily extracted and replaced with a new one. Then, reassemble everything in reverse order of disassembly, ensuring to reinsert the fuel hoses correctly and make sure the tank is inserted into the rail attachments before tightening the securing pins.
