Once the tank has been released, the two fuel supply pipes must be disconnected, it is advisable to mark the position of the pipes to avoid reversing them at the time of assembly, furthermore this operation will not cause fuel leaks thanks to the presence of a vacuum pump. inside the tank. After having disconnected the two pipes, you can proceed by disconnecting the float power plug located in the lower part of the tank. Once these components have been disconnected, the tank can be rotated 180 degrees in order to have access to the air box. At the two upper ends of the air box there will be two other pins which, once removed, will allow you to open the air box and therefore have access to the air filter. At this point the air filter can be easily extracted and replaced with a new one, after which it will be possible to reassemble everything in the reverse order to that of disassembly, taking care to reinsert the fuel pipes in the right direction and to make sure that the tank is inserted into the rail connections before screwing in the fixing pins of the same.
