This guide shows how to perform an engine oil change on the Suzuki Burgman 400. After running the engine for a few minutes, you can unscrew the drain plug of the oil reservoir with a 17mm spanner. Allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container. Using a 6mm spanner, unscrew the oil filter cover. Let the oil drain out and remove the old cartridge; be careful not to lose the seals. Clean the cover and the drain plug from any old oil residue and refit them with the new filter (after lubricating the seal of the cover with new oil). Fill the reservoir with new oil to the recommended level; run the engine for a few minutes and then check the fluid level again.
