In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the battery in the Suzuki GSXR 600, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then unhook the indicated side panel, unscrew the bolt that has just been released, and repeat the operation on the opposite side. Lift the driver's seat, unscrew the fixing bolts of both terminals and, starting from the negative terminal, disconnect them. First of all we put our motorcycle on the central stand and start warming up the engine for a few minutes; then unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the screws of the oil filter cover, removing and replacing the cartridge with the new one; finally unscrew the filler cap and top up with the new engine oil, of the right type.
