Part: Key

Video tutorial

This video shows how to replace the key cover on an Opel/Suzuki. You can find the new shell on hm-electronics.

Select your chosen brand. The shell with the blank key is available for £12.50 plus £5.90 for shipping.

First, open the shell by removing the small screws that hold the outer covers, take out the middle part connected to your key (which you will reuse), remove the part with the chip and battery, and take the blank key, which will receive the same treatment.

Now, reassemble the parts of the new key with the chip and your old remote key. Tighten the final screws, and the operation is complete.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
