The service light must be reset every time a service is performed. Doing this on a Suzuki Ignis is very simple; just follow a few easy steps.

First, insert the key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. Once it is powered up, press and hold the "info" button located on the left side of the dashboard until the maintenance menu appears on the display.

Navigate through it using the "+/-" buttons next to the INFO button until you find the "oil change" option, which can also be selected using the INFO button. From its submenu, select reset and confirm.
