How to Remove the EGR Valve from Suzuki Grand Vitara

This guide shows how to remove the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve from the Suzuki Grand Vitara. First, open the bonnet and detach the protective plastic cover of the engine. Remove the air duct and the pipes that are exposed after this operation. After unscrewing all the fastening bolts of the exhaust pipes leading to the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve and removing the bolts securing the valve to the supports, you can pull it out with a bit of play from its location. Disconnect the control connector and replace it with a new valve. The replacement procedure is the same as the disassembly procedure.
