The trip meter is a useful tool for monitoring the miles you will travel on a particular journey, allowing you to know the actual distance covered upon arrival. To reset the trip meter on the vehicle, follow these steps: sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition (do not start the engine), locate the button at the top left of the instrument panel. Press this button until you select the trip meter, then hold it down until the trip meter resets.
