If you want to DIY the engine oil and filter change on this model of car, follow the steps outlined below. After opening the bonnet and lifting the vehicle, proceed to unscrew the oil drain plug located at the side of the oil sump, then unscrew the filter using the appropriate spanner.

Take the new filter and screw it on after replacing the seal. Once all the used oil has drained out, re-screw the drain plug.

Go back to the bonnet and fill the system with new lubricant.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake.
