You can change the engine oil on the Sym MaxSym 400 by loosening the drain plug on the oil sump, located at the central bottom of the scooter: once the plug is removed, allow all the oil to drain into an appropriately positioned container. At this point, you can remove the oil filter located in the same position to replace it with a new spare part. You can now top up by pouring the necessary amount of oil through the filler located on the right side of the vehicle.
