To clean the chain of the Sym MaxSym 400i, remove the fairing by unscrewing all the bolts indicated in the video. At this point, you will be able to remove the cover that protects the chain, the pulleys that tension it, and the chain itself. Clean and lubricate all the removed parts with an appropriate fluid, as shown in the video. Then, reassemble them by reversing the previous steps. It may take a few attempts to find the correct position of the chain and the pulleys. Once this is found, you can reattach the cover and the fairing.
