How to Install the Windscreen on the Sym Orbit 125?

Model: Sym Orbit 125
Part: Windshield

Video tutorial

To install the windscreen on the Sym Orbit 125, loosen the nut that secures the bracket to which the rear-view mirror is attached, which will then need to be removed from its housing. Once the old mirror is removed, insert the windscreen bracket into the mirror's seat and secure it with the appropriate bolts.

Now you can install the rubber grommets on the windscreen and attach it to the brackets by installing the bolts that will hold it in place. After installing the windscreen, you can reattach the mirrors by inserting them into their respective seats.

An Affordable Modification to Solve a Problem on the Yamaha MT07

This video shows how to solve a problem affecting the Yamaha MT07 with a very affordable modification. This bike requires a specific movement of the throttle grip to accelerate, which forces the right wrist into an unnatural twist. You can remedy this by fitting the throttle control from the R6, which reduces the rotation from 90° to 45°; the cost is under £25 even when buying the original part directly from the dealership. As shown, the disassembly and reassembly work is extremely simple; just be careful not to let the throttle guide slip, as it has its seat directly in the cover. You can see the difference in hand position after replacing the grip.
