In today's tutorial, learn how to perform the routine maintenance oil change on a Sym Joymax 250i scooter. First, position your scooter on the centre stand; then use a 17 mm socket spanner to unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes. At this point, replace the drain plug and open the fill cap with the dipstick; pour in the new engine oil until it reaches the maximum level indicated on the dipstick (use 10W40 oil)!
