Today's steps will show you how to remove and replace the rear brake pads on the Sym Joymax Z 125 scooter. First, place the scooter on the centre stand and start unscrewing the bolts securing the rear brake caliper using a socket wrench with an extension; then apply pressure to the caliper piston to retract it, removing the brake pads as shown in the video. At this point, clean the caliper of any residual dirt, replace the old brake pads with new original ones, and finally refit the caliper!
