In this guide, follow the instructions to dismantle and replace the variator of the Sym Joymax 125 Z scooter by following these simple steps. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start unscrewing the screws securing the transmission cover; then, unscrew the nut of the fan and the clutch bell, disconnecting and removing the drive belt as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the variator along with the rollers inside it; reassemble the transmission and the outer cover!
