How to repair the windshield wiper motor on a Tata Safari Storme.
Model: Tata Safari Storme
MK 1
- Years 2012-2019
Neglecting such an important part of our car can be very dangerous. Fortunately, it is still possible to repair parts without necessarily replacing them, as we see with the windshield wiper motor of the Tata Safari Storme. First, we remove the grille of the front bumper, then lift the hood and identify and remove the motor of the windshield wipers. However, before doing so, we conducted an electrical check to confirm that the problem was indeed with the motor. We could have done this with a multimeter. Under the front bumper, we find the bar with the motor. There are worn gaskets, stuck screws, oxidized contacts, and broken wires. To unlock all these parts, we use a lubricant such as W-40, then clean the oxidized parts and remove the accumulated dirt. We change the gaskets and check the wires. Now, we can reassemble it. It works perfectly, as we can see from the video.
