How do you deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiago?

To deactivate Lane Assist on the Volkswagen Tiago, you need to turn on the instrument panel by pressing the appropriate button located to the right of the steering column. Now you will need to press the button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel, so that a specific menu is displayed. Then, when the "Lane Assist" wording appears, press the OK button located on the right side of the steering wheel: this will remove the checkmark next to the wording and the system will be deactivated. To reactivate it, simply press OK again and put the checkmark back.
