One of the main causes of the cigarette lighter socket not working is the malfunction of the fuse related to it. To replace the fuse of the cigarette lighter socket of a 2007 Toyota Camry, we need to get into the car and remove the cover of the fuse box located under the steering wheel. The fuse we are going to replace is called CIG and has a 20A rating. It is also recognizable by its yellow color. We then remove the fuse and insert a new fuse of the same rating, close the cover of the box, and test the operation of the socket.
