Replacing the timing belt is a process that requires attention and patience. Follow the main steps below to remove it from the Toyota Camry.

First, open the hood of your car and start loosening the tensioner for the alternator belt to remove it. Next, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the bolts from the alternator, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the timing cover and then take out the thermostat.
