How to replace the external rearview mirror of a Toyota RAV-4

In this video, we see how to change the rearview mirror of a Toyota RAV-4. The mirror wiring is hidden behind the inner panel of the door, but instead of removing the entire panel, the YouTuber simply moved it aside from the inside of the door, allowing access to the mirror wiring without having to disassemble everything; having small hands will be helpful! Then we need to remove the triangular plastic partition, located at the mirror, from the inside of the door. Remove the three sealing bolts underneath, disconnect the electrical connector, and we are able to remove the mirror from the outside. We can either completely replace it or just replace the damaged parts, depending on the condition of our mirror. Then we will put back the bolts, the electrical connector, and the plastic partition. Reconnect the wiring and close the door panel.
