How to replace the battery in the Toyota Prius key.

Let's see how to replace the battery of the Toyota Prius remote control: first of all, we need to get a new button battery, which is a common CR2032, which we can easily find at any supermarket or electronics store for a few euros. First, we need to remove the emergency key, by pressing the button on the top of the remote control and pulling the key ring to which the emergency key is usually attached. Now, using the key we have extracted, we pry inside the space we have created to separate the two halves: in this way we expose the battery to be replaced. Let's remove it and put the new one in its place, being careful to respect the polarity. We can close the two halves and put the emergency key back in place.
