How to Replace the Key Battery of the 2014 Toyota Prius

If you want to replace the button battery located inside the key of your Toyota Prius second generation (2009-2015), simply follow these steps. First, press and hold the button on the side of the cover while simultaneously pulling out the physical emergency key. Next, remove the rear cover and take out the exhausted battery. At this point, insert the new battery (model CR1632) and correctly refit the rear cover that was removed earlier. The procedure is now successfully completed.
