The procedure to correctly replace the small button battery inside your Toyota Prius key is fortunately very simple and quick to execute. Let's go through the necessary steps.

First, press the button located on the upper part of the cover to easily slide out the emergency key contained inside. Then, open the cover using your hands or a small flat screwdriver.

Proceed to remove and replace the battery, and finally, reassemble the cover by reinserting the physical key.
