In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the battery in a Toyota Prius remote, a very simple and quick operation. For this, you will need a small flat-head screwdriver and a replacement CR1632 battery.

First, extract the emergency metal key by pressing the appropriate button, then insert the screwdriver tip into the indicated slot, lever it, and separate the two halves of the remote. Next, remove the internal circuit, take out the old battery, and insert the replacement, ensuring the correct polarity.

To reassemble, simply follow the reverse procedure.
