When the remote control of your Toyota Prius suddenly stops working due to a completely depleted battery, do not worry because you can replace the battery yourself by following the steps described below. First of all, purchase a new battery (2032 model) then remove the emergency key from inside the remote control and then use a small flat screwdriver to open the cover. Once you have done that, remove the old battery and replace it with the new one. Finally, reassemble the cover and you are done.
