In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the 12V battery in the Toyota Prius Hybrid, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, in order to operate safely, then open the trunk door and remove the cover at the base of the right wall. Then loosen the nuts of the two power terminals using a 10mm socket wrench, disconnect them both starting from the negative terminal and unscrew the bolt of the mounting bracket with a 12mm wrench. At this point, all that remains is to remove the old battery, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
