In this video, we will see how to remove the rear seats of a third-generation Toyota Prius. We need to open both rear doors, and we can see that there are tabs, but they are quite deep inside.

To access them, we need to try to push the seatbacks inward so that we can reach inside with our hands and grab the latch, which then becomes visible. We need to push forward while simultaneously moving downward.

Once we manage to loosen them from their housing, we can try to pull them towards us and lift them up. It is a single piece, quite rigid, which is somewhat difficult to maneuver, but once it is released from its hooks, we are done.
