In this video, we will see how to reset the service light on a 2018 Toyota Yaris: the reset is done entirely from the car's multimedia system, as shown in the video. No special tools or complicated button sequences are needed. Turn on the instrument cluster, and on the touchscreen of the multimedia system, go to the main menu, looking for the 'applications' icon. Among the applications, select 'maintenance'. A menu will open with options for the reset. Look for and press 'reset'. The system will ask you to confirm to reset the scheduled maintenance with 'reset operation'. Once completed, a confirmation message will appear on the screen and the light will turn off.
